The BioMedical Faces of Science health
disparity database for the United States contains statistics
for disparities for example cancer, diabetes and HIV/AIDS,
to name a few. The aim of the database is to provide
elementary, middle and high school teachers and students
with the knowledge to participate in facilitated
discussions, classroom activities and service learning
projects with the mission of bringing exposure to various
disparities among ethnic groups. |
